Diets high in sugar are now linked to increased risk for diabetes, Alzheimer's, some types of cancer, and obesity. Sugar depresses the immune system, ages the body, creates inflammation, and contributes to cravings, mood swings, PMS, and a host of other conditions. Dont by into the Hype, Sugar is not good for you or your body! Yes your body does use it as energy, buy remember your body also makes its own by converting Carbs into Succrose.

Here's my brillliant diet. I lost 13 lbs in two months on this diet. Eat food. Don't eat a lot of bad food--you know, like chocolate, or fast food, or cheese doodles--but some is okay. (what can I say? ice cream, german chocolate, chocolate covered pretzels and cookies.) Don't eat too many greasy meals (pizza, hamburgers, etc.); I have one or maybe two a week. (This usually correlates with going out to eat. Eating in means you know what you're eating which is helpful too.) Find an excercise you like and do it as much as you like. I like swimming because it's relaxing. I swim five times a week. I also find walking to and from campus relaxing, so I end up walking at least 45 minutes a day.

Voila! It's a freaking amazing. When will people stop coming up with stupid and restrictive diets that are frustrating and generally hard to follow? I've seen people literally lose a hundred pounds on some of them, but what's it matter when they gain it back.

And I'll bet you that I can whoop most anyone on those diets in a gamut of physical tests.
