Weird Al New Album Progress
Weird Al is apparently working on his 11th album, and he linked to some studio-session photos from his site. As with most pictures from a band’s studio-time, they were probably taken by one of the band members (my hunch is that it was Bermuda, in this case).
Band-pictures are cool and all, but I’m struck by their low quality. I mean, the lighting is all wrong on the left-side picture on this page. And, the picture on the left side here is too dark. And, that doesn’t even go into the framing issues.
As the Weird Al Band is successful, I would think they could at least afford a better camera for themselves :-/.

Al has to do a parody of B.Y.O.B. by SOAD. It would be so awesome. Also either Do You Want To or Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand.

In his Poodle Hat album, i respect the fact he totaly dominates rap, however i want some good modern rock in his next album, if there is another one. SOAD is an awesome idea! another good idea would be like linkin park Numb, lol. and how could he miss making fun of photograph nickelback. if he doesnt do anything like that, he better make a pretty darn good polka.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! New Weird Al album! He’d better make fun of B.Y.O.B., Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Temperature, Pon De Replay, Hollaback Girl, Yeah!, or Breakaway. Otherwise, it will be… well, I can’t say it will be bad. There were tons of songs I knew he should of made fun of, but didn’t, but made better parodies. So til the TBA album release date, I’ll be anxious!

Rumor has it that he’s doin a parody of Numb/Encore and making it about pirates of the carribean and will be dressed as Johnny Depp in the video. And he will parody Green Day, Usher, and R.Kelly.

What would really be cool is a parody of “Dragostea Din Tei,” in which he salutes Numa Numa. And the video would be an accurate rebuild of that room in the video, with the aquarium and everything.
He’s Parodying, Chamillionaire, Green Day, Usher, R. Kelly and Taylor Hicks…so If that is all the Parodys that would be 5 Parodys 6 orginals and of course a Polka!

There does seem to be a lot of songs that he has missed out on doing a parody of. He only make the parodies so fast I guess. But he has done more than enough work to prove he’s worthy of his title. Which is the king of parodies.
