AC/DC – Death Metal

While driving to Bed Bath & Beyond last night, I was listening to Sirius Radio’s Metal channel when I heard a cover of AC/DC’s classic “TNT” by Six Feet Under, a death metal band. From their website:

Imagine, for a moment, what a growling death metal version of “TNT” would sound like, and you’d probably be fairly close. It was at once slightly amusing but surprisingly catchy ;). And, as it turns out, it’s available as an mp3 from their website if you want to hear what it sounds like.

  1. Boston-based celtic punk rockers Dropkick Murphys used to sing part of TNT as an interlude in the final song at their shows. Then they switched lead singers, and I stopped listening to them. But it was really cool at the time.

  2. “While driving to Bed Bath & Beyond last night, I was listening to Sirius Radio’s Metal channel”

    There’s a phrase I never thought I would hear.

  3. lmao. Yeah I love Six Feet Under, you think thats amusing, check out Devourment. Or better yet, when Dimurgos, my band, Covers listen to your heart =). Blow your fucking ears of man. I found this on google lol. Anyways, Six Feet Under kick ass… although that song makes me laugh everytime i listen to it.

  4. When I said that I stopped listening to Dropkick I forgot to say it is because I suck. They are much more dynamic now with the new singer, I’m just not in to good music so I stopped listening to them.
